From Losing Money to a Lease Renewal

In rental arbitrage, the gap between the lease and booking revenue is the whole business. This unit was not covering its costs. We built its brand, listings, pricing and guest messaging, and within a few months it was profitable and the lease was renewed.

The challenge

In rental arbitrage, the gap between the lease and booking revenue is the whole business. This unit was not earning enough to cover its costs, which put the operator's lease in question.

Our approach

We built the brand and listings from scratch, written for platform search, and set up dynamic pricing calibrated to the local market. We promoted the unit through social media, Facebook groups and influencers, and set up guest messaging from inquiry to checkout.

The outcome

The unit went from not covering its costs to profitable within a few months, and the lease was renewed on the strength of the results.
