Organic Search Nearly Tripled

A boutique hotel had a good location in a busy destination but no clear identity. We advised a wellness repositioning, from new amenities to the website, social media and ads, and organic search traffic rose 2.9x over the past year while occupancy ran 13.8% ahead of the hotel's competitive set.

The challenge

A boutique hotel had a good location in a busy destination but no clear identity. Travelers saw one more hotel in a crowded market, with nothing that set it apart.

Our approach

We advised ownership to turn an underused fitness room into a salt room and add hot and cold therapy, red light therapy and a meditation space. We then repositioned the hotel as a wellness destination across the website, social media, Meta ads and Google Business Profile, ran influencer partnerships and giveaways to build the audience, which also earned local media coverage, and benchmarked the hotel against its competitive set to show where occupancy and rate stood.

The outcome

Organic search traffic rose 2.9x over the past year and Instagram interactions nearly 10x over the same period. Occupancy is running 13.8% ahead of the hotel's competitive set, and website visitors rose 132% in the first five months of 2026.
